DEE-E Diatomaceous Earth Chips are a natural mineral-based product made from diatomaceous earth—the fossilized remains of microscopic aquatic organisms called diatoms. The chip form is convenient to handle and suitable for multiple home and garden applications.

Key Uses

• Garden & Plant Care: Suitable for use around plants and garden areas.
• Crawling Pest Management: Can be used in dry areas where crawling insects are commonly found.
• Soil Amendment: Can be mixed with soil as a natural mineral-based soil amendment.
• Odor Control: Its absorbent nature makes it useful for managing unwanted odors.
• Fridge Deodorizer: Can be placed in an open container inside the refrigerator to help absorb unwanted odors.

How to Use Diatomaceous Earth Chips in Soil

1. Prepare the Soil:
Loosen the upper layer of soil around plants or in the planting area before applying DEE-E Chips.

2. Apply DEE-E Chips:
Mix approximately 1 tablespoon per square foot into the top 1–2 inches of soil.

3. Surface Application:
DEE-E Chips can also be spread as a layer around plants, depending on the intended application.

4. For Crawling Pest Management:
For applications intended to manage crawling pests, keep the treated area dry for best performance. If the material is washed away by rain or watering, allow the area to dry before reapplying.

5. Reapply When Required:
Reapply as needed, particularly when the material has been displaced or washed away.

Why Choose DEE-E Chips?

DEE-E Chips provide the benefits of diatomaceous earth in an easy-to-handle form. Compared with fine powder, the larger chip form is convenient for soil and garden applications and can remain incorporated in the soil for longer periods.

Important: Avoid creating or inhaling dust during handling. Avoid contact with eyes and follow the product directions during application.
